    Description :Chris built something similar to Winnie's Clean P1 variant for a gent with a 6l6. This was recorded by the condenser mic in a Zoom PS-02 with reverb added at that point.

    Introduction

    Welcome to the AX84 Homepage!

    The AX84 Project was originally started with these goals:
  • Design and build a simple tube guitar amp
  • Make information available and understandable to beginning DIY'ers
  • Discuss the designs and apply them to future projects
  • Promote an atmosphere of learning and camaraderie between folks who know and folks who want to know.


    • We've been very successful, with a variety of projects for builders of all skill levels and a thriving discussion forum. This has only occurred through the participation of people from around the world.

    AX84.com is now entering a new era with the advent of the AX84 Tone Brewery platform which makes it easier than ever to build tube amps, exchange ideas and expand your tone chasing ability. We welcome all new participants to AX84.com and encourage you to dig in and see what the Tone Brewery and AX84.com in general are all about.

    Please feel free to browse the site and become aquainted with the project. If you have ideas for something that is not underway, feel free to post a forum message or send feedback.
