    Moonlight

    Overview

Stephen Delft originally released the Moonlight to the Internet in early 1998. The goal was to design an amp that featured full tube drive at bedroom levels. This new version includes a different tone control and preamp stage for even better sound. It uses custom transformers specially designed for the Moonlight amp. In the US the transformers are available from Obsolete Electronics. Builders outside the US should contact Stephen directly at flying.kiwi@paradise.net.nz for information on pricing and availability.

    Features

  • 1 Watt of output power!
  • EF184 pentode input stage
  • Unique Push-Pull dual triode output stage
  • Uses inexpensive 12SN7 and 12SL7 tubes or their 6 volt equivalents
